Review: Good-looking Watch for Sensible Money! - As I understand it, most makers of mid-range quartz watches use one of a limited number of generic quartz movements (e.g. those manufactured by Miyota). And even the cheapest quartz watches are perfectly accurate enough for normal everyday use. So when buying a chronograph watch in the £50-£150 range, they're all pretty much the same apart from aesthetic considerations. Burei are probably in the same area of the market as Accurist and Sekonda (for example), but less well-known. Nonetheless I am very happy with this purchase as I like traditional (conservative?) watch face designs and leather wrist-bands. The watch feels reassuringly solid on the wrist without being cumbersome or heavy, the analogue display is easy to read and the chronometer works fine. In my opinion it looks great with formal or casual clothing and considerably more expensive than it actually was! It comes very nicely boxed and presented with easy-to-understand instructions and a little gift bag (if you need it). A nice touch is the "welcome" email the purchaser receives from Burei. One very small criticism - doesn't affect me but if you have large wrists, the strap might be too short. Review: STUNNING WATCH - SUPERB VALUE - VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER !!! - This is my second BUREI watch, and although I love my first one, this watch is simply class !! As expected, the packaging is top notch, the watch itself looks simply stunning - but most importantly (for me at least) it keeps excellent time. Been wearing constantly for five days now and have checked it's accuracy in that time - gained a total of one second !!! I don't know how fussy most people are, but for me personally that is fantastic for a £50 watch !!! Would buy another in a heartbeat if I lost this one. The only thing that peeved me just a little is that it was on an desertcart lightning deal the day after I bought it for just £37.99 - ASTONISHING !!!! This watch punches way way way above it's weight for the price, so do yourself a favour and buy yourself one now or treat your special man to it. Oh, just for the record in case you are wandering that this review seems to be a bit OTT, I am an honest buyer who gives straight and honest opinions whenever I feel a product deserves it - whether that be good or bad.
